I WAS unlucky enough to be ill and taken to Warrington Hospital in the early hours of July 30 and what I saw turned my stomach.
I was transported to the hospital at 3.15am by ambulance to accident and emergency.
When I got there we had a short wait in the corridor then I was transferred to the hub which I can only describe as a dirty hovel.
I was left alone in the hub till 5.40am and I then got my bloods done but it stuck me how dirty the place was.
The wards that I observed were spotless so why couldn’t A&E be the same?
