THE first residents in a new development on a former garden centre in Lymm are set to move in this summer.

As previously reported in the Warrington Guardian, the Willowpool development, based on Burford Lane, is aimed at the over 55 market and offers 13 park homes for people looking to downsize in luxury.

This week developer Arbor Living has announced a one-off promotion for the next reservation on one of the two remaining plots on this launch phase of the development.

The promotion will see a lucky buyer securing a price reduction of up to £30,000 off list price, subject to terms and conditions.

Graham Richardson, managing director at Arbor Living, said: “We are delighted with the progress we have made to date and it’s lovely to think that the first residents will be moving in over the summer.

“With only two homes remaining in phase one and plans to release the second phase in the autumn, we decided to offer a special incentive to one lucky buyer.”

The single-storey properties have been designed with convenience in mind and come fully interior designed and furnished with designer furniture, luxury floor coverings and window dressings – ready to move in to.

The development offers a choice of seven two-bedroom housetypes, all of which are single storey and set within a private, secure, gated community with lovely views over Cheshire countryside.

The offer is available on two plots – The Mere (plot 11) and The Prestbury (plot 13).

Both offer open plan living with master en-suite bathrooms.

The Mere has the added benefit of a separate study and both homes have decked areas to the rear from which the gardens can be fully enjoyed.

The former garden centre has been empty since it closed in 2013 but it was previously a popular spot to eat and hunt for antiques.

The prices for the final two plots on phase one start at £405,000 and this includes the promotional discount offered.
