JASON Clark has revealed how his family are already starting to prepare for life in Warrington thanks to “a little care package” from the club.

The loose forward will join The Wire on a two-year deal from next season, ending an 11-season association with South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Clark, 29, will make the move from Australia with his wife and three daughters, all of whom he says are eagerly anticipating their arrival in England.

“The club have actually sent over a little care package, which was really nice,” he said.

“We got some Warrington jumpers which my girls have put straight on.

“They are walking around the house howling like wolves now!

“Every time we see blue and yellow, my oldest daughter points it out and says ‘that’s going to be us.’

“Those colours are a part of our family now.

“It’s going to be a big adventure for us. We’ve heard plenty of good things about Warrington.

“We know it’s right in the middle of Manchester and Liverpool, so it will be a great two years’ experience for us.”

When his signature was announced last month, Clark became The Wire’s first new addition for 2019, with moves for London Broncos’ Matt Davis and Canberra Raiders’ Blake Austin being revealed since then.

He says he has been keeping a close eye on how Wolves are progressing this season via Bryson Goodwin – a close friend from their time together at Souths.

“Going into a new team, I know I’m going to have to prove myself to my teammates and the coaching staff,” he said.

“It’s a good opportunity for myself. They have some great blokes in that team.

“I’ve been keeping a close tab on the team since I signed for the club. The season seems to be going well for the guys.

“Bryson Goodwin is a good mate from playing with him for a few years.

“I’ve been in touch with him and he’s keeping me up to speed with what’s going on.

“Our wives have been talking as well, so we’re getting tips on what we need to do to make the transition a little easier.

“It will be good to get a new jumper for a new team.

“I’ve heard so much about the Warrington fans and members, so I want to come over and do plenty of good work for them.”
