WARRINGTON Wolves’ physical disability rugby league team will be in action at the Halliwell Jones Stadium this weekend in a double header with the club’s annual beer festival.

The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation’s PDRL side will face off with Castleford Tigers at 12pm on Saturday, July 21.

And the game is held to coincide with the fifth annual Wire2Wolves Beer Festival, which takes place over the weekend.

A total of 31 different beers will be available to sample, as well as gin and wine bars.

Running from 6pm till 11pm on Friday, that evening’s beer festival will boast a comedy showcase.

In addition to the PDRL game, the foundation’s Heart and Sole Awards will also be launched on the Saturday – when the festival is again running until 11pm.

Wire legend Mike Nicholas will hold a Q&A session alongside his former Widnes Vikings counterpart Jim Mills, while Wolves forward Ben Westwood will be performing alongside his daughter Tyler.

Tickets are priced at £6 including a drink and free glass, and are available from the foundation office or on the day.
