POLICE are diverting traffic around a car which has crashed in Fairfield close to the Esso garage on Manchester Road.
The vehicle remains in the lane travelling towards the town centre with one casualty inside.
Paramedics are treating the woman at the scene.
Traffic is being moved around the car by a policeman, one lane at a time.
Congestion is building in the area.
