A SERVICE aimed at making online shopping convenient has proved a hit with Warrington shoppers, as the town’s shopping centre marks the first anniversary of its CollectPlus launch.

Over the last 12 months, more than 10,000 CollectPlus parcels have been handled by the team at Golden Square Shopping Centre.

The service was introduced at the centre’s Customer Service Desk in April 2017, and Warrington’s busy shoppers have embraced the convenient way to collect their online orders and return unwanted items.

To celebrate CollectPlus’ first year, the centre is giving one lucky shopper the chance to win a £100 gift card to spend in Golden Square stores.

Ian Cox, Golden Square centre director, said the response to the centre’s CollectPlus service had been overwhelmingly positive.

He said: “We have a fantastic range of stores within the centre, but we also know that busy lifestyles mean hitting the shops isn’t always the easiest option, so being able to provide the CollectPlus service for shoppers to collect and return their online purchases has been a fantastic addition to Golden Square.”

The CollectPlus service allows customers to conveniently collect their online shopping and return any unwanted online purchases to more than 400 retailers. Customers can also send parcels to any UK address, including 7,000 stores in the CollectPlus UK-wide network.

Neil Ashworth, CEO of CollectPlus, added: “It is wonderful that CollectPlus services have been adopted so enthusiastically by shoppers in Warrington.

“We look forward to a continued partnership with Golden Square and extending our convenient services to even more shoppers in the future.”
