AN IVF clinic has celebrated its fourth birthday by welcoming the parents of babies born with their help back for a party.

Daresbury Park-based Reproductive Health Group held the birthday bash on Sunday, July 1, with dozens of little ones conceived through the clinic in attendance.

Clinical director Professor Luciano Nardo said: “Family is a big thing for me and I want to see other people have the same.

“For fertility patients, it is not just about one appointment – sometimes we are on the journey long enough to establish a friendship.

“It is very exciting to see all the babies today – I feel very proud.

“We want to maintain positivity for those in treatment and to inspire trust and belief.”

Partygoers were treated to pizza, hot dogs and ice cream as well as a show by a children’s entertainer on the day.

Among the attendees was Alex Bradshaw from Preston Brook, who gave birth to her daughter Halliee following a single cycle of IVF treatment.

She is now planning to have a second child with her wife Lauren.

The 35-year-old said: “Professor Nardo is the miracle man.

“We got married in June 2016 and had been planning to go to a clinic in Birmingham until we heard about this one, which is right on our doorstep.

“Every option was made crystal clear and we already have a pregnancy plan in place for our next child in around three years’ time.”
