GOLDEN Square Shopping Centre is set to get a sprinkling of magic as a new Disney Store arrives in town.

As revealed in the Warrington Guardian last month, the store will come to town this summer.

The centre will welcome its new addition in August with 2,378 square feet of Disney merchandise on offer and the creation of 22 jobs.

Ian Cox, centre director at Golden Square Shopping Centre, said excitement is building and he is delighted to open such a popular brand at the centre.

He said: "Disney is a name that automatically makes people of all ages smile. Their stories and characters are iconic and loved by so many that I’m thrilled that we’re able to bring them to Golden Square.

“Not only will the new store be bringing the delight that only Disney can, but will also create of a number of new jobs for the town. We look forward to welcoming some new colleagues to Golden Square.”

Recruitment is currently taking place for the store, which offers a wide range of Disney-branded toys, apparel and accessories.

Graham Burridge, managing director of Disney Store Europe, added: “We’re delighted to open a pop-up Disney Store at Golden Square. "The store features a fantastic range of Disney, Marvel and Star Wars merchandise and is the perfect place to find the toys, gifts, collectables and everyday treats for all the family. Our staff are looking forward to welcoming the people of Warrington over the coming weeks and months."
