HUNDREDS of people turned out for this year's Padgate and Woolston Walking Day today, Saturday.
Residents young and old lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the walkers in their white dresses and uniforms as they began the parade at 2.30pm.
Pupils and teachers from schools were joined by representatives from churches and brass bands as they walked the annual route of Padgate Lane, and back again.
