BEAVERS have created new homes for bats in Woolston.
The 13th Warrington Beavers have created a number of bat boxes, which were installed along the New Cut Canal on Friday, May 11.
Bat expert Harold Green helped the beavers by lending his knowledge and equipment to the youngsters.
He also brought in a pipistrelle bat for them to meet, with the beavers also going on a bug hunt along the canal.
The New Cut Heritage and Ecology Trail Group helped to install the bat boxes.
