THREE engines were needed to put out a house fire in the early hours of today, Sunday.
An engine from Warrington and two from Greater Manchester responded to reports of the blaze in the roof of a property on Warrington Road at around 6.10am.
Fire crews used a hose reel jet and a dry powder extinguisher to put out the fire.
