DINERS at a Penketh restaurant were given an unusual request as they sat down to eat on Thursday.
Oliver’s Restaurant and Fagin’s Wine Bar hosted a charity night in aid of Kevin Brown and the Guide Dog Society.
The night consisted of a three-course meal, live entertainment, surprise guest and raffles.
During the main course, guests were asked to wear a blindfold for 60 seconds to experience eating food without their sight.
This was done so people could better understand how hard it is for visually impaired people to complete a task as simple as eating.
The night sold out with money going to the Guide Dog Society.
