EIGHT guides from Appleton Thorn have completed a two-day Scouting competition beating 99 other teams from across Cheshire.
The girls, who are part of the 1st Appleton Thorn Unit,competed at the annual event on April 14 and 15 in two age categories, intermediate and juniors, where they hiked, camped and carried their equipment, including a tent and food, in a 10kg pack.
Twelve-year-olds Bella, Zoé and Ellen and 11-year-old Siân won the Cheshire Forest district awards, with Bella and Zoé winning the entire intermediate competition.
Siân and Ellen also placed fifth against the other junior teams in Cheshire.
The other four guides who took part were Willow, Anna, Grace and Liv.
