ENGLAND'S netball players made history at the weekend after beating Australia to win Commonwealth gold.
And it's not surprising such a momentous victory has got plenty of young girls and women keen to get out on the court this week.

For youngsters
Nellie's Netball is currently recruiting year twos and threes for training on Saturday mornings from 9am at Broomfields Leisure Centre in Appleton.
Little Netball Netties is aimed at three to seven year olds and boys and girls are welcome.

For beginners
England Netball run Back to Netball sessions at Hope Academy in Newton.
Sessions take place on Mondays from 6 to 7pm and finish with a friendly game to put the skills you have learnt into practice.
You don’t need any special kit - just clothes that you feel comfortable exercising in and trainers ideally that lace up. Make sure you take some water with you.

It's £3.50 a session and you can pay on the door.
If you're looking for opportunities to play
The Sport For All Centre, formerly known as the Ball Hall next to Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England in Latchford, provide adult netball sessions to suit all abilities.
Whether you are looking to get back into netball, haven’t played since school or play netball regularly and are looking for new opportunities to play.
Register to receive an invite to a free 'come & try' sessions, to join a team or to register your own team.
Saints Netball Club in the Warrington and District Netball League is also looking for new players.
The club has four teams of mixed availability and train Mondays from 7 to 9pm in Birchwood by a qualified coach.

If you fancy joining a social league
Warrington Social Netball League is expanding and they are currently looking for new players and teams.
All abilities are welcome and you can sign up as an individual and be placed into a team of individuals or you can enter as a team of seven to 10 friends.
The league runs on Thursdays from 7 to 9pm at Culcheth Community Campus.
It's been £4 and £6 to play depending on the size of your team.
Walking netball
From those who have dropped out of the sport they love due to serious injury, to those who believed they had hung up their netball trainers many years ago, anyone can play walking netball regardless of age or fitness level.
