THE countdown is on for this year's Hatton Show, which takes place on September 8.
The 59th annual show will take place opposite All Saints Church in Daresbury.
Competitions to see who has the biggest carrots and plumpest tomatoes will be the main attraction while an on site real ale bar is also expected to pull in the crowds.
Hatton Women's Institute will be on hand to provide refreshments throughout the day.
There will also be a horse show and a pet show as well as stalls for all the family.
Anyone who wishes to set up a stall at the Hatton Show must pre book before September 1.
