IT was adios for a nursery teacher who has retired to start a new life in Spain.
Pam Bennett said to farewell to Appleton Thorn Pre School last Friday after a 20-year stint there.
The teaching assistant is now preparing to pack her bags and move to Madrid with her family.
Mrs Bennett said: "I've loved every minute of working here. I've been privileged to work with so many nice people and teach some wonderful children over the years.
"But I am looking forward to moving to sunny Spain."
During a special assembly at Appleton Thorn Village Hall, Mrs Bennett was presented with flowers and homemade cards from the children.
