GREAT Sankey woman Rose Fox from Hood Lane is painting to try to raise money so she can run art classes for kids.
She has set up a stall, courtesy of Warrington Market, and has so far sold three pictures painted by herself and other people.
She wants to provide the materials for the classes but cannot fund them herself and thought the stall would be a good way to raise some money.
The stall needs to generate around £250 to fund the classes, and Mrs Fox has applied for grant funding to make up the rest of the cash.
She is also asking for donations of surplus arts materials.
