Public order arrest over 'bomb threat'
POLICE last night arrested a man on suspicion of a public order offence after a reported 'bomb threat' was made at a restaurant.
Officers made the arrest following reports a man had made a bomb threat at a restaurant in the Old Market Place.
The arrest was made at around 10.30pm last night.
Elsewhere on a busy night for police:
- A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a road accident in the vicinity of J11 M62.
- A man in the town centre area was arrested on suspicion of inflicting criminal damage to a motor vehicle.
