A PERSONAL training studio will be donating 10 per cent of its income from packages bought by clients to Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

D4 Fitness, which is based on Manchester Road, close to the town centre, has launched its fundraising mission to support youngsters in need.

A blow-up elephant was brought to the site to mark the launch of the fundraising mission.

Owner Paul Shaw praised Alder Hey for its efforts and said he is looking forward to the partnership.

He added: “D4 Fitness will donate 10 per cent of the proceeds from all personal training packages purchased by clients every month.

“We want to make people aware that personal training with D4 Fitness will not only help them to achieve their fitness goals but will also help the children and families associated with Alder Hey through our contributions.

“Every year Alder Hey cares for over 270,000 children, young people and their families and they lead research into children’s medicines, infection, inflammation and oncology.”

Since October 2013, more than £22 million has been raised for the charity for a range of life-saving medical equipment and facilities that are ‘making a real difference to families every day’.
