THE team at St Rocco's Hospice were presented with a cash boost thanks to Birchwood Golf Club's captains Barry Wilson and Denise Earlam.
Last year they raised vital funds for the hospice which provides support for those suffering from life-limiting illnesses.
Fundraisers included a charity golf day, quiz nights and ladies lunch.
A total of £5,100 has been raised during the charity drive.
Denise, whose mum supported the opening of the hospice during her time as a borough council, described it a 'wonderful charity' which supports families.
