IT has been a topic which has generated plenty of confusion and debate on Facebook over the past month.
But we can finally reveal that THIS is the answer to your Pink Eye roundabout queries.
After a driver reported being 'cut up' using the Pink Eye roundabout and asked who was in the wrong, opinions were divided which was the correct lane around the Pink Eye roundabout.
We asked the transport planning team at Warrington Borough Council for some clarification and they have now sent us the following drawings to illustrate which lanes drivers should be in.
However they have also conceded some 'minor changes' will be needed when the road markings are repainted next year.
A council spokesman added: “There are plans to refresh the road marking at the Sankey Green Island (‘Pink Eye’) roundabout during 2018.
"The opportunity is being taken to review the existing markings prior to them being refreshed and it is likely that there will be some minor changes made.”
(And for those who are not as familiar with the town centre, we're talking about the roundabout here.)
