THE car park on Wilson Patten Street (the former Odeon site) has just raised its tariff by 50 per cent.
It is now £3 to park all day instead of £2.
However the lighting of this car park is not switched on making it difficult to park and pay early in the morning and rendering the car park unsafe and insecure.
The car park is managed by Premier Parking Ltd of Exeter who do not have an email address and have a telephone line where you pay to call them 12p a minute.
This looks like blatant profiteering by increasing charges and reducing service.
