A TOWN centre bar will have its licence reviewed following an application from the police.
An application has been made for the review of the premises licence of Shenanigans, on Bridge Street, in accordance with section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003.
The 'grounds for the review' are that the 'nature and style of the operation of the premises is undermining the licensing objectives', particularly over the prevention of crime and disorder and breaches of current licence conditions imposed on the bar.
The venue is allowed to continue trading as usual.
The council confirmed that a date for the review is yet to be set.
