A 29-YEAR-OLD man who was detained during the Warrington Wolves and Hull KR clash has been released under investigation.
Police have confirmed enquiries are ongoing after the suspect, from Hull, was arrested on suspicion of assault at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday.
Officers are investigating the alleged assault of two stewards during Warrington Wolves' 46-24 win over Hull KR in their last game of the Super League qualifiers.
A 65-year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of assault, is now going through the restorative justice process.
