AN elderly man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a tree in B&Q car park on Delph Lane.
Firefighters, police and an ambulance were called to the scene at around midday, where a grey Ford Focus had crashed into a tree.
Fire crews from Warrington and Penketh cut the man free from the car and he was then taken to Warrington Hospital.
But police said he will now be transferred to Whiston Hospital due to the nature of his injuries.
