TWO men who were detained after entering the pitch at the Halliwell Jones Stadium have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
The men were arrested following the incident during Warrington Wolves' 46-24 win over Hull KR in their last game of the Super League Qualifiers.
A Cheshire Police spokesman confirmed that both men are being held on suspicion of assaulting two stewards.
