A MOBILE afternoon tea firm is waiving its fees to groups hosting a Macmillan coffee morning.

Warrington-based Room Forty is supporting the cause by offering to loan sets of their beautiful vintage china to organisers running a coffee (or tea) morning.

The national event is on Friday, September 29 but Room Forty will loan out a crockery pack to any event organiser hosting an event in September or October.

The Room Forty Macmillan Coffee Morning support kit includes 24 cups, saucers, plates, cake stands, teapots, jam and cream bowls and cutlery.

Jen Perry, proprietor of Room Forty Afternoon Tea Emporium, said: “Macmillan do wonderful work.

“One in three of us will face cancer at some time and the money raised helps Macmillan ensure that no-one faces it alone.

“Room Forty don’t have premises but we do have lots of beautiful crockery to help stage a coffee morning and bring a smile and a bit of wow to your event.

“We’re waiving our hire fees for anyone hosting a Macmillan coffee (or tea) morning this September/October.

“We just ask that you send us some pictures of you having fun, and you raise lots and lots of money for charity.

“Give me a call on 357940.”
