TAPI Carpets and Floors is set to be the latest store to open its doors at the Junction Nine Retail Park.

The flooring retailer will open tomorrow, Saturday, at 9am at the site off Winwick Road, formerly the Alban Retail Park.

This will be the retailer's 82nd store after launching two years ago.

Martin Harris, CEO of Tapi Carpets and Floors, said: “We are delighted to announce our new store opening in Warrington.

"As Britain’s fastest growing carpet and floor retailer, we have identified Warrington as a perfect location for our newest store.

"We are really pleased to be able to offer our customers a unique personal experience on a local level, while providing the value of a national brand.”

The opening is a part of a major renovation project which has seen big names including Nando's, Subway and Iceland Food Warehouse open for business on the site.

Earlier this month, the Warrington Guardian revealed plans to build three units at the retail park had been approved by councillors.

The units will be located to the north end of the retail park, on the site of the former Fiat warehouse.

Warrington Borough Council's development management committee unanimously approved the scheme, which is anticipated to create hundreds of new jobs, during a meeting at the Town Hall on Wednesday, August 30.
