ORFORD Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub’s gym has reopened following a ‘state-of-the-art’ refurbishment.
The revamp has seen a mix of traditional cardiovascular and resistance equipment installed at the gym, as well as skillmills, skillrows and climb machines.
Also featuring a speed track with sled pull and a large matted area for floor work, core exercises and stretching, the gym’s new layout will provide more space for functional training.
A new floor and water fountains have also been installed, while the gym has also been redecorated.
Equipment was provided by Technogym, who kitted out training centres for the 2012 Olympics in London.
Kev Forester, commercial manager at Livewire, said: “It was great to see so many people taking part in the challenges and trying out the new equipment.
“The skillmills, skillrows and climb machines really push users to get the most out of their workouts, combining power, cardio and functional training in easy to follow programme routines.
“We have also upgraded our traditional equipment, including treadmills, cross trainers and free weights.
“Come along and try it out for yourself – there’s something for everyone.”
