A NEW rose queen was crowned during a special service at Stretton Walking Day on Saturday.
Families made their way to St Matthew's Church, on Stretton Road, for the annual event.
The day started with a church service and was followed by the walk of witness at noon before St Matthew's CE Primary School hosted its annual summer fair.
Pupil Lois Hayes-Harrop was crowned rose queen before the walk.
Mayor Cllr Les Morgan, mayoress Gwyn and Warrington South MP Faisal Rashid were among those in attendance.
