THE owner of a Bridge Street takeaway has been ordered to pay more than £2,000 after repeatedly breaching his late-night licence.
Warrington Borough Council licensing enforcement officers discovered that Muhammad Irfan, owner of Frankies, traded past 3am and even advertised that his shop was open until 4am.
Irfan, 29, from Ashton-in-Makerfield, was sentenced at Warrington Magistrates' Court on June 7 after pleading guilty to licensing offences.
He was fined £500 and ordered to pay £1,537 in costs and £50 victim surcharge making a total of £2,087.
