CONCERNS have been raised over a heavily flooded pathway in Cinnamon Brow.
The path off St Andrews Close heading towards the new bridge over Spittle Brook has been flooded since a large vehicle was sent down the path to complete maintenance work to hedges and trees.
Geoff Settle, former Mayor of Warrington and councillor, said: “A council tractor cut hedges on the path a few months ago in damp conditions and churned it up, and lots of people have commented on it as it is a popular path.”
Warrington Borough Council is planning to investigate the problem.
A spokesman said: “Warrington Borough Council has limited resources available to undertake path network surfacing repairs but will investigate this issue.”
