PUPILS and staff have created a unique tribute to the victims of the Manchester attack by stencilling 22 bees on school walls.
The worker bee has become a symbol of the city, evoking its industrial heritage.
The image has been permanently painted on walls at the Grammar School Road site in memory of the people who were seriously injured or lost their lives at Manchester Arena on Monday night.
Head teacher Beverly Scott-Herron said: “The worker bee symbol represents togetherness, hard work and sacrifice, the symbol has been a part of Manchester's identity since 1842.
"It is important that in such difficult times that we can show support to everyone affected, and ensure that the support will always be there.
"We will always remember them”.
