A LUXURY Grappenhall hotel has unveiled its new look after a major refurb.

As part of an investment and rebrand, the Fir Grove Hotel in Knutsford Old Road has been renamed Hallmark Hotel Warrington.

It is one of eight hotels across the north west that have been transformed after previously being under the Best Western banner.

Ten of the bedrooms at the Grappenhall hotel have been given a full refurbishment, including new contemporary bathrooms, while the rest of the building's interiors have been given a refresh throughout.

Stockton Heath resident Paul Beswick has also been appointed as new general manager.

Paul has worked in the industry for 20 years including roles at QHotels and deVere group.

He has launched a new seasonal ‘Best of British menu' with an emphasis on supporting farmers and UK producers.

New additions include British charcuterie from Cumbria, renowned Hampshire trout and 28-day aged Red Tractor British steaks.

There are also an extended range of bottled beers and ciders from around the world including Curious lager, Curious IPA and sparkling wines from Chapel Down in Kent.

David Grosfils, head of Hallmark Hotels, said: "The investment plans into our hotels in the north west supports the Northern Powerhouse’s efforts to improve economic growth for the area.

"Warrington is also home to the Hallmark Hotels' head office which makes this integration all the more important to us."
