INVESTIGATIONS are still ongoing into a suspected arson attack at a derelict Indian restaurant in Longbarn.
Firefighters battled for hours to extinguish the blaze after it engulfed the former Bayleaf building on Harpers Road on March 28.
The building, which was formerly the Longbarn Social Club and Smithy’s pub, has since been demolished.
Three teenagers were arrested on suspicion of arson as part of the force's investigation.
Two 13-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy, from Warrington, were also arrested in connection with a burglary at Beamont Collegiate Academy on Long Lane on March 2.
But the suspects were released under investigation as enquiries continue.
