MOTORISTS are facing long delays on the M6 this morning, Wednesday, due to ‘recovery work’ and a broken down vehicle.

There is queueing traffic on the M6 southbound between junction 21 at Woolston and junction 20 at Lymm.

Lanes three and four were closed but all lanes have now been reopened.

A rolling road block was put in place to allow for the ‘safe recovery’ of the vehicle, which is currently on the hard shoulder.
