THIS was the scene after a fire engulfed a van on the M6 this morning, Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the motorway close to junction 21 at Woolston at 6.40am.
The exit slip road was closed to traffic and one lane was shut due to clean up and recovery work.
This caused delays for motorists travelling this morning in the area.
