Officers remain at the scene
ONE person has been taken to hospital following a crash involving three vehicles this afternoon.
Winwick Road was closed while emergency services dealt with the collision.
But police have confirmed the road was reopened at 4.45pm.
Officers were alerted to the incident at 3.55pm today, Monday, near to junction nine of the M62.
