A DATE has been set for the return of the Westbrook Big Party.
The event will be held at Gulliver’s World on Friday, June 16, at 5.30pm.
Last year more than 1,800 people attended the event which is exclusively for those living in the WA5 area.
Organised by members of the Westbrook and Callands and Communities association, visitors can expect to enjoy a range of entertainment.
Alan Gutherie said: “We are a group of residents who want to create a better sense of community involvement for all in our area.
“Accordingly there will be a wide range of free rides, music, school choirs, sports, leisure groups and societies.
“In other words, we will be offering something for people of all ages.
“This is a showcase opportunity for groups to reach a very wide audience.
“It is a fun event for local people so please bring written proof of residence in the WA5 postcode area to gain admission.”
