Construction work at 1,100 homes at Omega looks set to begin after Miller Homes purchased a plot of land at the site.
WORK to build 1,100 houses on Omega South looks set to begin.
Miller Homes is set to become the first company to begin construction work on the project after it purchased a plot of land situated north of Lingley Green Avenue, between Sophia Drive and Whittle Avenue, that will comprise of 200 homes.
Omega partner Andrew Sutherland said: "The arrival of Miller Homes on Omega is the first step in delivering a whole range of quality new housing, including affordable homes in the area.
"We are proud that Omega will now not only contribute to the local economy but also respond to the growing local housing need."
