REMEMBERING their ancestors who may have fought in World War I is just one of the ways pupils from Dallam Community Primary have been helping out with the Relationship Centre’s ‘Us and Them, Way Back When’ project.

The children joined artist Gail Stubbings at her town centre studio, Blooming Art, to create a collage of poppy designs to commemorate the First World War.

They also visited Warrington Museum to create their own medals and find out what daily life was like in Warrington for families at the start of the twentieth century.

After completing their artistic projects, the youngsters will receive an arts award certificate and the work will go on show at the Relationships Centre.
