I AM writing on behalf of the committee of Camsley Grange Riding for the Disabled Group to thank the Warrington Guardian for the grant of £1,150 and for your coverage of our charity (Warrington Guardian, January 5).
As a small volunteer-run charity, Camsley Grange RDA Group in Glazebury is committed to offering horse riding and pony care sessions to people with a physical and/or learning disability in and around Warrington and Cheshire.
We strive to enable both children and adults to improve their health and wellbeing through a real and lasting therapy.
Horse riding for the disabled not only benefits mobility and co-ordination but encourages the development of personal confidence in a friendly, safe and fun environment.
As you know the grant will enable us to proceed with the purchase of much-needed equipment for our riders. I would like to thank you once again for your support.
ADRIENNE LAING Trustee and treasurer
