RAYMOND FOY Passed away peacefully on 9th January 2017 aged 80 years. Ray was the second youngest, and last surviving, child of John and Katie Foy of Broadbent Avenue Latchford and spent his whole life around Warrington. He met the love of his life Maureen, one of the five Fearon girls from Penketh, in the late fifties and they were married at St Joseph's in 1960. Ray and Maureen settled in Penketh from 1964 and spent the rest of their lives there raising a son Andrew and a daughter Geraldine who would also be married at St Joseph’s to her husband Tim in 1992. Ray was a very active member of St Joseph’s social club and other Penketh venues and seemed to be known by everyone. Ray’s marriage to Maureen sadly ended in 2005 when Mo died after a long battle with cancer with Ray nursing her diligently and selflessly. After a period alone Ray found companionship with his partner Margaret for the last years of his life. Raymond will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all his family and friends and as well as his son and daughter and their spouses Claire and Tim also leaves five grandchildren; Abby, Milly, Maddy, Annabelle and Fraser. Funeral service to take place at 10.00am on Friday 27th January at St Josephs Church, Penketh followed by committal at Walton Lea Crematorium, Chester Road, Warrington and afterwards at the Penketh Tavern (British Legion). All who knew Ray are welcome. All enquiries to Co-operative Funeralcare, Bewsey Rd, Warrington Tel 01925 445555
