FIREFIGHTERS believe a car on Grafton Street in Whitecross was deliberately set on fire last night, Tuesday.
A crew from Warrington Fire Station was called to the scene at around 10.50pm and found a car in flames on the street.
They used a hose reel jet to dampen down the vehicle.
A thermal imaging camera was then used to check the area and luckily no other cars were affected by the fire.
Firefighters think the car was deliberately set alight and anyone with information should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or Cheshire Police on 101.
