WARRINGTON Wolves have confirmed the man who will replace Roger Draper as chief executive at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Karl said “It is a privilege and honour to be promoted in to this position.

"Based on a philosophy of continuous improvement and actively listening to our sponsors and supporters I will be part of a great team that will proceed to enhance the Warrington brand.

"In recent years there has been positive momentum gained both off and on the pitch it is important this is maintained.

"I'm also looking forward to continue working with one of the best managers in the game, Tony Smith.

"I'd like to thank Simon (Moran) and his board of directors for providing this opportunity.”

Steven Broomhead, club chairman, said “The board are very pleased to appoint Karl, as he brings with him a rich experience in the sport.

"It is good to appoint an individual who has invested so strongly in his own personal development and that of others. We are certain that Karl with build on the positive momentum we have established at the Wolves in the past couple of years."

Mr Draper is leaving Wolves at the start of December to take on a new role at the RFL. He joined the Wolves at the start of 2015.
