A man in his 60s sustained potentially life-threatening injuries in a crash on Chester Road yesterday afternoon.
A MAN in his 60s is in a critical condition after an accident in Daresbury yesterday afternoon.
Chester Road was closed northbound after a crash involving a car and a wagon between the Daresbury Expressway and junction 11 of the M56 shortly before 2pm.
The man, who is believed to be aged between 60 and 70, was cut from the car by Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service having suffered major trauma.
He was taken to Warrington Hospital by the North West Ambulance Service with potentially life-threatening injuries.
