“I used to watch the huge impact the foundation makes when I was working at Green Lane School.
“So I started to volunteer around five years ago and when a job came up I decided to apply and got it.
“I work with children and adults with additional needs at schools, clubs, disability football teams and also holiday camps.
“When I was younger I was always out playing football with my friends but some of these kids have not had the opportunity to do this.
“It’s not just about the sport, it’s about making friends and helping them to build up their confidence so they feel comfortable in different surroundings.
“I'm really lucky to work with everyone –the kids and adults are amazing.
“Things which may seem like a really small thing to some are a huge accomplishment for them.
“To guide and support them to make that first step into sport, to help them make friends or to build up the courage to go on a bus to a tournament, it’s amazing to see the difference it makes.
“I'm a Warrington fan so it is great to help people in the town where I live and support.”
