Hay fire in Croft
FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of hay on fire in Croft at around 12.45pm today.
One fire engine from Birchwood was on the scene at Deacons Close and firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out a pile of hay approximately four metres by four meters wide.
Fortunately no injuries were reported following the incident.
