CALLING all selfie fans.

Send in your pictures now for the chance to be crowned Mr or Miss Warrington Guardian this summer.

After a six-year hiatus for the competition, we’re bringing it back in 2016 to find the town’s hottest boy and girl to represent Warrington.

There will be a whole package of prizes for the two winners including a three month leisure membership at The Village Hotel and a professional photoshoot provided by the Warrington Guardian.

And so that you will be looking your best for the pictures, the two winners will each take home a £75 gift card to spend in the Golden Square shopping centre.

Former winner Tim Houghton, of Orford Avenue, says he is still referred to as Mr Warrington Guardian six years on.

The 30-year-old dispenser at Lloyds Pharmacy added: "I really enjoyed it and it was a good atmosphere on the night.

"It was a great experience being the face of the Warrington Guardian and doing a bit of modelling and I used to get people all the time asking me 'Are you Mr Warrington Guardian?'

"It was brilliant working with charities, meeting new people and doing anything I could for the community.

"But I'm looking forward to handing over the sash now and letting someone else have the same brilliant experience I had.

"I wish them all the best and my advice is to be yourself and just enjoy it."

All you have to do to enter is send us a selfie with your name, age and the area of Warrington you live.

Entries can be sent in via our Facebook page or email them to hannah.bargery@nqnw.co.uk.

The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives within Warrington borough boundaries.

The winners do not have to be a couple and each competitor should send in his or her entry separately.

Deadline for entries is September 2.
