OUGHTRINGTON Community Primary School has been named as the best school in Warrington in PE and school sports.
The primary school on Howard Avenue in Lymm was praised for pupils' and staff's efforts in sports.
Head teacher Gillian Marsland said: "Not only have we been successful in nearly every sporting sporting event we entered but we are recognised by other schools as the one to beat.
"It was said on Monday that we have an enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated sporting team which enables our children to have the best possible experience of PE and sport."
